International distribution for the iconic Pegasus World Cup is stabled with HBA Media for the third consecutive year.

HBA Media welcomes in the New Year with a newly extended production and distribution contract for the cutting-edge Pegasus World Cup, which takes place on Saturday, 26th January at Gulfstream Park, Florida.

The enhanced two-year-deal sees HBA Media enter its third-year association with The Stronach Group to manage the international media-rights distribution for North America’s richest horse race – the $9 million Dirt race, as well as the inaugural $7 million Turf race. HBA Media will also produce a bespoke 60-minute international programme for a global audience centered around the two $16 million world class races, mixed with the unique blend of entertainment and innovation that is exclusive to this raceday.

Henry Birtles, CEO of HBA Media, said:

“The Pegasus World Cup is a truly innovative horseracing concept; sport at the highest level blended with unrivalled entertainment; added to which there is a staggering $16 million at stake. The Stronach Group has created this exceptional event and I am immensely proud that HBA Media continues to be a much-valued partner.

“Not only will HBA Media deliver the highest quality production, content and coverage for this phenomenal raceday; we will also distribute the content globally - either live or on-demand.”
