Pegasus World Cup celebrates 10 years of redefining global horse racing


  • HBA’s premium international racing series kickstarts the year with a 90-minute show presented by Francesca Cumani.


Thursday, 22nd January 2026 -  This weekend the Pegasus World Cup (Saturday, 24th January) marks a historic milestone as it celebrates its 10th anniversary, cementing its reputation as one of the most entertaining and transformative events in international horse racing. Since its inception, the Pegasus World Cup has pushed the boundaries of the sport - fusing elite competition with world-class entertainment and attracting A-list celebrities, musical royalty, and global influencers to a raceday experience unlike any other.

 

This landmark 10-year celebration will be delivered to fans around the world through an expansive global broadcast footprint secured by HBA Media. Alongside host broadcaster NBC (USA), the Pegasus World Cup will reach millions of viewers across multiple continents. 

 

Broadcasters can elect to take the world feed (produced by NBCU) or a dedicated 90 minute international programme (produced by Carr-Hughes Production and HBA Media) featuring the two principal races - the $1 million Pegasus World Cup Turf (G1) and the $3 million Pegasus World Cup Invitational (G1) (Dirt) - integrating luxury lifestyle, fashion and entertainment features from horse racing’s most exclusive party. Renowned for her insightful work and style with ITV Racing and Australia's Network 10, presenter Francesca Cumani will host live coverage of the event, which will be broadcast in 140 territories.
