RANDOX GRAND NATIONAL TO BE BROADCAST IN MORE THAN 130 COUNTRIES AS 30 GLOBAL PARTNERS SIGN ON

Wednesday, 8th April 2026 - The Randox Grand National at Aintree Racecourse will once again command a truly global stage on Saturday 11th April, with 30 broadcasters showcasing live coverage of the world’s most famous Jumps race to more than 130 countries.

Working in partnership with The Jockey Club, Racecourse Media Group (RMG) and HBA Media (HBA) have secured an extensive line-up of international broadcast partners for the 178th running of the race. A field of 34 runners and riders will take on Aintree’s 30 iconic fences over four-and-a-quarter miles, with millions of viewers expected to tune in worldwide.

Leading broadcasters such as ESPN and Disney+ (Latin America and the Caribbean), FanDuel (US), Viaplay and Setanta (Europe) will carry the race, while Fox Sports will feature highlights on its US network. There has been notable new interest in South-East Asia, with SPOTV (serving 14 territories in the region) and TVRI (Indonesia) broadcasting the race for the first time.

The Randox Grand National will also be available on selected airlines and cruise lines via the Sport 24 network, ensuring fans can follow the action live from the air or at sea, while British Forces Broadcasting Services (BFBS) will broadcast the programme live for those serving abroad. CNN will cover the event for its flagship World Sport programme, reaching more than 320 million households.

Dickon White, The Jockey Club's North West Regional Director, said: “The Randox Grand National continues to captivate audiences around the world, and we are delighted that viewers in more than 130 countries will be able to enjoy this year’s race.

"The breadth and quality of our broadcast partners reflects the enduring global appeal of this iconic event. We are grateful to RMG and HBA Media for their work in extending the reach of the race, and we look forward to showcasing another unforgettable renewal to millions of fans worldwide.”

Broadcasters can choose from the four-hour World Feed, the Track Feed (allowing insertion of their own presentation), or the Crown Jewels Racing feed – a special one-hour programme.

RMG’s own channel, Racing TV, will also broadcast the race to 11,000 pubs and clubs across the UK and Ireland. Radio listeners will enjoy extensive live coverage in the UK via BBC Radio 5 Live and talkSPORT 1 and 2.
