BETFRED DERBY NEWS: BETFRED DERBY TO BE AVAILABLE TO WATCH IN 170 COUNTRIES
Thursday, 4th June 2026 - The £2m Betfred Derby at Epsom Downs will be available to watch in all corners of the globe, with 40 broadcasters airing coverage of the 247th running of the famous Classic.
Working with The Jockey Club, which owns and operates Epsom Downs Racecourse, Racecourse Media Group (RMG) and HBA Media have ensured the race (off at 16:00 BST / local, Saturday 6th June) will be broadcast in around 170 countries.
TV audiences can watch via major networks such as Fox Sports (US), CBC (Canada), ESPN and Disney+ (South America and Caribbean), Viaplay and Setanta (Europe). The race can also be followed live on the seas via Anuvu, which services cruise ships.
The fixture is an integral part of the World Pool schedule, ensuring widespread coverage in Hong Kong (via HKJC TV, Cable TV, Now TV, TVB), and the HKJC World Pool Northern Dancer Handicap, run at 5.20pm BST / local, is one of eight races on Saturday to be simulcast to the World Pool audience.
CNN (c.350 million household reach) are set to include on its World Sport programme, while Reuters will distribute to news outlets around the world.
