4th March 2020 – Amateur jockey, Mr Noel George is pleased to announce that HBA Media has extended their corporate sponsorship under an annual rolling agreement.

The sponsorship sees 20-year-old Noel wear HBA Media branded clothing and support his athletic pastime as an amateur jockey, while retaining his role as assistant trainer to his father, Tom George.

From 14 rides this season, the distinguished amateur jockey has finished within the frame on nine occasions, with ITV Racing presenters Ed Chamberlin and Sir Anthony McCoy, both praising Noel’s ability in a recent nail-biting photo finish.

Next week, Noel will be riding at the prestigious Cheltenham Festival on board Springfield Fox in the National Hunt Challenge Cup Amateur Riders’ Novices’ Chase on the opening day (Tuesday, March 10) and Sumkindofking in the challenging Glenfarclas Cross-Country Chase on the Wednesday.

Noel George, said:

“I am very appreciative and thankful to HBA Media for continuing their sponsorship, which enables me to do what I love most – race riding for pleasure rather than on a professional basis.”

“We have enjoyed a longstanding association with Noel George and his father Tom; and we are delighted to lend our support for another season.

“We look forward to cheering Noel home on-course and following his progressive amateur career.”
